But if you're a new owner who acquired title directly from the previous owner, then yes, as their successor in interest, you're entitled to any past rent you can collect. ------------Ward ================== : Bought a house subject to existing liens. The house currently has non-paying tenants. : These tenants have been there and have been decent payers for last ten years. They stopped paying when the NOTS was posted on their door.
