Government's current goal is tax the hell out of people i.e Carbon tax scam including the green initiative. Barry Soetoro talked about that in his speech last night. The reason they haven't released the "shadow inventory" is because they can make more money sitting on the stuff, for now anyway. In terms of the economy what you see is what you get for a long time to come. Yea the rich will get wealthier but this shouldn't be a zero sum game if you really want to improve the economy. As I said let's revisit this 5 years from now. Sure there will be a lot more ev's buzzing around but also the US standard of living will be lower then it is now. Not unless there's a serious change in the way the US political system works.
