Re: electric vehicles (evs)In Reply to: Re: electric vehicles (evs) posted by SSinOC on June 15, 2010 at 10:56 PM you simply arent following the ev industry like i am. it is coming now. one might argue that big oil finally lost out, or that big oil is allowing it to happen for whatever reason. but it is happening. this is not an american thing. it is international. every country has companies putting out evs. nissan has either 2 or 3 other models (other than the leaf) that are due out soon. we have companies readying to recycle the batteries. starting next semester, the university of detroit has a 4 year degree in electric propulsion. this is the main gist of why i posted - as i said, most people arent aware. they still think of evs as granny carts. and almost no one sees how big it is gonna be. it is gonna be the staple of the world economy for the next generation. and it wont stop with cars, although that will certainly be the biggest item. the wealth loves all this doom and gloom. it puts people in a panic, selling stuff at bargain prices to those who have money. in the end, the wealthy usually end up wealthier, cuz the masses panic. i dont think you are gonna see any mass selloff of reos by banks. they already robbed the public of a gazillion dollars. the stock market continues to go up and down. i will let you figure out when the wealthy buy and sell in that cycle, and when the masses buy and sell in that cycle.
