We actually lost a buyer due to the delay. For FHA you must be on record as the new owner before you even do up the Purchase Agreement. We had a ready, willing, and able buyer that waited for 16 days and then walked. Very BAD business if you asked me. I guess maybe they are getting some handsome interest off of all the the refunds that they are banking, why else would they hold the funds. There is absolutely no excuse.
