: I guess since they mailed it Friday,
: overnighting would not really help me,
: because the earliest I could record would be Tuesday.
: Tuesday (day 19) or Thursday (day 21) - hopefully it won't matter.

We always fax a request immediately upon purchase at auction with our
FED EX too, in the past we've always received refunds and Deeds
in a timely fashion. Not sure if they are up to sneaky business or
not, but we did explain the the gent on the phone that we will let
the Attorney General know about there unacceptable practice of holding
our funds for an extended period of time.

We actually lost a buyer due to the delay. For FHA you must be on
record as the new owner before you even do up the Purchase Agreement.
We had a ready, willing, and able buyer that waited for 16 days and
then walked. Very BAD business if you asked me.

I guess maybe they are getting some handsome interest off of all the
the refunds that they are banking, why else would they hold the funds.
There is absolutely no excuse.
