: Does anyone have a basic contractor's agreement for a remodeling : Thank You, : nevermind3@hushmail.com Any competent contractor with offer a solid contract, however. It sounds to me like you want a good experience and finished product from the contractor you deal with.As a ggod old Calif Tax Payer you have the benefit and privilege of "checking the dude out" on the Calif "Contractor State License Board" website. You can see how long hes been "tooled up and in business" whether he's bonded, had complaints or suspensions and so forth.Heres an insightful, practical fact; "The lower the 6 digit Contractor License Number is ,the longer the dude has been in business, hence if the license reads #000047 ,this individuals great grandpa was in the same trade, and this individual your considered probably "carried tools for him" and is highly competant" Finally ,alot of folks nevver ask for recent client testamonials and refferals which any established contractor is happy to provide.Hope this helps.
