Well, I don't know what you mean by "on the cheap". Maybe you Are you working equity purchases? Do you make face to face cold calls? Doug : So, I guess you're trying to do this on the cheap, which I can understand. : Only experience will teach you what people will take (on the first visit). : Wear comfortable clothing, and be patient. Remember that you're probably not the only one who has knocked on their door and offered to "help" them. : Almost everyone will say that "they've taken care of it." You need to know how to keep the conversation going when you know that they haven't taken care of it. : Also, don't forget what it feels like when a stranger comes onto your property and starts asking YOU questions. : Good luck. : P.S. - if you don't have much success with this approach, consider training (worth the money; trust me).
