I've paid anywhere from 350 -500 for eviction services. And as much as 2K for cash for keys...in units with squatters who never paid, ever, or where the rent had previously been as high as $600.00. Whoo-hoo.

If you can't pay an eviction service $500.00 then the deal really is bad. You can do it all yourself, and the Nolo Press book is a good one, but I don't recommend it. Depending on your needs for the property and the location and other business activities that you have going, paying an eviction service makes sense.

Is the goal to evict? Or to collect rent from the current tenants?

: Have a business partner that just took over 18 units as property manager. These units have been for the most part vacant for a very long time and the tenants that are in the buildings do not pay the out of town owner. In short my question is can I with very little experience handle evictions ?Can you tell me where to find the info i will need to perform evictions There is no money available to spend on an attorney..
