And as much as 2K for cash for keys...in units with squatters who never paid, ever, or where the rent had previously been as high as $600.00. Whoo-hoo. If you can't pay an eviction service $500.00 then the deal really is bad. You can do it all yourself, and the Nolo Press book is a good one, but I don't recommend it. Depending on your needs for the property and the location and other business activities that you have going, paying an eviction service makes sense. Is the goal to evict? Or to collect rent from the current tenants?
