: Jim -I'm certainly no expert on evictions, however I have come to some conclusions along with policies and practices for myself.

: The first one is, life is too short for me to handle evictions myself.

: Second, the laws are very dynamic and I prefer to have the full force and impact of an attorney's strength, from start to finish.

: There really isn't an upside to doing your own foreclosures, in my opinion, unless eviction court is a place that you like hanging around, and there's no shame in that. My friend Mic seems to enjoy the environs, but truly, I don't know why. Maybe it's a personal thing.

: For a few extra bucks, get it done right, then spend your time on creative projects that make you money and energize your spirits, rather than trying to save a few bucks.

: Check out Ward's referral attorneys on the left bar, or try mine: Liddle & Liddle, in Glendora, CA 626.963.1638.

You can also sort out how much of the process you may want to do
be reading books.

Two books that should be required reading for any landlord
or property manager are Landlording by Leigh Robinson
and California Evictions by Nolo Press.

Whichever path you take you will free better about your choice
after spending time with these excellent books.
