They have inspectors driving by and checking the houses. So, my insurance got cancelled and I have to insure with California Fair Plan. : Not clear how this is any different than purchasing for rental, but I was honest with them and it got me cancelled. : Just a warning to everyone trying to get insurance for their purchases.
