Not much change. High-rise Condos that originaly sold for 479,000 now going for 179,000. Those that sold for 379,000 now going for 129,000. Lots of deferred maintenance, Results of Hurricane Katrina are really beginning to show on the buildings. : Problem is Insurance and maintenance fees. They will cost you about $14,500 per unit per year on average. : Found a nice little 3BR, 3BA, 1512SQft, townhouse, duplex, condo that was originally 179,000...bought it for 52,000 and change.
