is it a 30-day Notice of Sale OR 1 month Notice of Sale?

Posted by Brian A on March 12, 2010 at 10:40 AM

So... my mortgage was $340K, and the bank foreclosed. The opening bid was $97,500, and it reverted because no one bought it. I still can't figure out why they wouldn't do a Loan Mod and let me keep it.

Question: My trustee sale date was 3/10/10. The notice was generated 2/10/10. That's a 28 day notice. Is that legal? Or did it have to be a 30 day?

Thanks.
