Sarah,

If you bought the property prior to the recording of any lis pendens referring to the ex-owner's lawsuit, then as a bona fide purchaser (BFP) for value your claim to title will supersede
the outcome of the ex-owner's lawsuit.

: Hi,

: We bought a house at Trustee Sale in northern CA in Jan. We have received the deed and recorded it. We are in the process of eviction, and just learned from our eviction lawyer that the previous owner filed a lawsuit against the lender canceling the trustee sale in Jan. How much longer will it delay our possession?

: Your input and advice is highly appreciated!
