We just sold it to a 3rd party this past week. I noticed the first half of taxes were paid in December. I went to the tax collector's office and I was told the bank paid the property taxes with a bulk check for multiple properties in December. Can the bank ask for that tax money back or should I consider it a bonus? It was for about $2500. I would assume the borrower had impounds and the property did not get off the bank's list for property taxes.
