Not everyone showers...

Bukzin - Some years back, I would have agreed with you. However, I've come to see and smell some incredible "living" situations.

I'll bet you have, too, as well as most everyone else who are serious about this business.

How can people live like this? Can't they smell the urine from their 50+ cats? Doesn't it bother them when they can't shave or shower? What about using the toilet? Apparently, as long as there's room in the bowl...

Answer: I don't know.

It's probably why people can live on the street or survive in the bush. Like the prverbial frog in the slowly heated flying pan of water, maybe they initially rationalized the changes but came to accept them over time (since having shelter beats not having a roof over one's head).

The point is, what's unacceptable to you and I, might be acceptable to a desperate (or ill) person.

Anyway, I get to be grateful everytime a get a snootful of vacant house (that stays in my olfactories for days!) and remember that it could be me.
