'Purchased and delivered.' would be the step beyond a contract Think in regards to buying a car the contract is delivered (presented) and accepted, then the car, after being paid for, is purchased and delivered. The buyer is not in a position of being liable to a third party the dealer also sold the same vehicle/product when the buyer registers it with the DMV (records it at the Recorder's Office)
