: : : : : : : purchased a property last week at a trustee sale, found out after the sale that the property had been sold two weeks prior to the trustee sale to a all cash buyer, called the trustee and they said they would look into it, what do I do now

: : : : : :
: : : : : : wait for your refund (it will be a regular check, not a cashier's check)

: : : : : ok here are the details, prior to the trustee sale I noticed on mls the property as sold 2 weeks prior, checked title and it had recorded with no loan against it, figured the trustee sale would be cancelled, when I heard the auctioneer start reading this property going to sale I noticed a pro bidding on it with some newbie named Greg Metcalf, so I hopped right in the bidding and won the property, called title again and verified the prior sale, called the agents involved with the prior sale and found out that it was a cash buyer, called the assc manager (condo sale) and he verified everything, trustee (Quality) told me Friday to talk to their attorney who was not in, what is going to happen? I think I will get my money back

: : : : "Newbie" named Greg Metcalf? What is this comedy hour? Now I don't know whether or not to believe any of your post.

: : : Greg already told me what he thought would happen, just trying to get another opinion

: : Make sure you have a Fedex account. DO NO ALLOW THE TRUSTEE TO REGULAR MAIL YOUR REFUND CHECK BACK.

: thanks JK for the good advice
got a call today from Quality, legal department tells me I got the property and they are mailing me the deed, I ask them how could this property sell two weeks prior with escrow and title and then I get the deed, Quality says that the prior sale closed after the short sale deadline that Aurora set and therefore they are refunding the funds to the prior buyer/owner, figure that one, every expert told me that I would not get the deed and I would get a refund from Quality/Aurora except one person, that one person was Metcalf
