Re: placing trust deeds on one's investmentsIn Reply to: Re: placing trust deeds on one's investments posted by Even dumber??? on February 09, 2010 at 9:57 AM : : (california) in past discussions, i have had several knowledgeable people talk to me about having a trust deed placed on their investment properties, to help ward off lawsuits. : : to any of you investors who actually keep some of your properties that you buy at foreclosure - do any of you place trust deeds on them ? : : if so, how is the property titled ? and who is the owner of the trust deed ? : Who's dumber those WITH the education that can't figure things out on their own or those without the education that are TRYing to get the answers? : Duh??? Placing a TD on it can't hurt and MAY help. You obviously see the benefits there. The Beneficiary (not OWNER) of the TD could be another Trust or LLC or whatever. Slight education. if you have been reading these posts for any period of time you would know by now that hml refuses any formal education. I on the other hand have been trained by Ward; continue to study and keep abreast of all new laws. I have made and kept millions of dollars and a simple grantor-grantee index search of San Diego County records will prove this out. If you have any trouble researching please email me and I will hold your hand for you.
