Door knocking isn't the easiest thing in the world, especially if : : : : I've been reading about a program where people use info from foreclosure lists to track down owners before the auctions, or trustee sale, and I was wondering if those kinds of things are useful? : : : : Lee : : : Why do you want to track down the owner.Is he lost? : : : Dond : : To try to buy the house before the foreclosure sale, because most of the people in foreclosure don't have a working phone #. : I call that Door Knocking. Yes, it is a profitable way of doing business, however I have never seen a comprehensive foreclosure, subscription list that will tell you all you need to know ( position of loan in foreclosure, Title Chain etc ) to understand if the property has equity and is worth taking over subject to current financing and all other voluntary and involuntary liens / loans.
