Trustees Deed Sales Price

Posted by Dan on February 01, 2010 at 8:11 PM

My objective is to find out how much 3rd party investors are paying at auction. To do this I review Trustees Deeds of Sale at the recorders office.

I come across Trustees Deeds ( investors protecting this nugget of info ) in Ca. which do not disclose the amount paid at auction and the transfer tax. It is written on the specific line item "not disclosed".

Are there any other documents or methods that I can review to find the sales price paid at auction? I could always track the property address and see if it comes up FSBO or on the MLS Tax Records.... but is there a more efficient, more real time way?
