Re: profit sharing splits with investorsIn Reply to: profit sharing splits with investors posted by Paul Herold on January 26, 2010 at 11:40 AM : I have been partnered up for about 8 years now with an investor. I am the initiator, contractor and real estate broker and etc. of the operation. I am very satisfied with our 50/50 profit split and always have been. The only issue I have is the money is borrowed from various sources and the investor also charges interest paid as expense and we both share the cost 50/50. I am fine with that and always have been. Now that profits are good we are rolling profits back into the business and interest is still being charged as before. Any opinions on this? Your professional input is appreciated. Some good points there Greg-thanks. I do not have the assets for the financial backing from subject lenders to do the volume we are doing right now. So you think for me to charge broker fee's and recon fee's to the transaction and still take the 50%/50% split of the profits? Any other split you have hear of where its 50/50 and the investor also gets interest on the money? or is providing the funds the justifing means for the 50%? Follow Ups: Post a Followup:
