The lender has right to foreclose based just on the fact that you transferred the property. So you may or may not get to stay for six months more. Who is it that is "helping" you and what is they are getting out of the deal? Did you pay them any fees? Is it their plan to buy the property for less than is owed? If you post a little more about the details, we might be able to give you better advice. : The day of my trustee's sale, I found a person who is going to : help me stay in my home for a few more months. : He moved the date of sale 1 month more (I've done it like 10 : times). : Then, he asked me to sign the grant deed to some corporation. Now : they are in charge of everything.... I signed a paper where they : are letting me stay in the house for 6 months for free. : I did sign the grant because I was already going to leave the : house, after the sale.
