transfer title just before trustee's sale

Posted by Andrea on January 16, 2010 at 2:15 PM

The day of my trustee's sale, I found a person who is going to
help me stay in my home for a few more months.
He moved the date of sale 1 month more (I've done it like 10
times).
Then, he asked me to sign the grant deed to some corporation. Now
they are in charge of everything.... I signed a paper where they
are letting me stay in the house for 6 months for free.
I did sign the grant because I was already going to leave the
house, after the sale. I thought I had nothing to loose. Now,
apparently I'll stay there for 6 months more.
I'm so stressed thinking I did something wrong... did I?
I live in LA county.
