First of all, in no way do I teach or imply that one should go to the sale without doing thorough research and simply "copy" what the pros do. In the book I simply mention that there are those who do this, not that you should do this. My book thoroughly covers how to research and pencil out a property to determine your highest bid, etc. It emphasizes the fact that you will get "killed" instead of making a "killing" if you don't do proper research. Also, please note, the "personal guidelines" that I list are geared for the conservative investor, they are not for everyone to follow. The final decision is up to the individual.
