: I have a colleague that says at the end of L.A.County Property Taxes in Deliquency are do and local papers have published "Tax Sales".

: Are these worth pursuing or are there too many eyes on these properties.Has anyone on forum bought them?

Dave:
I know little about the CA Delinquent tax sales. I absolutely agree with Rick and Tricia. I buy tons of these things and one year bought 503 tax liens. THREE actually matured to me. One was a city street that the developer had failed to deed to the city, another was a burned ut crack house that I wanted no part of and the last was about 3 feet under water in a swamp. SO, yes, all that glitters is not gold in the tax sale part of real estate. It can be lucrative but also can be very dangerous.
It is a part that you must really LOOK before you LEAP!

Good Luck,
Bill H
