Checkbook IRA Trust? My self-directed IRA's sole investment is closing out and the money is coming back. This $ will increase the existing cash I have on hand for trustee sale purchases by 60%, which is what I want to occur. I can't utilize the IRA money for rehab/flips in a SD/IRA. I've found what appears to be a better vehicle than switching IRA into a pension fund in my corp, or a Checkbook IRA LLC. It is a Checkbook Trust IRA (better than LLC since there is no annual tax or fee to pay... just a small custodial fee and trustee fee). Anyone had any experience with one of these?
