you mean you got notice of it in the last 5 minutes ?

as i stated, every time that i have had a trustee sale cancelled, it is because of a bankruptcy filing.

i can speak from actual experience, as the foreclosing lender, this has happened several times to me.

other than that, i have never had a trustee sale cancelled.

and bankrupcties are often found out the evening before or the day of the sale.

i dont know for sure, but i suspect that the borrower was still trying to re-finance until the last minute, so to speak.

and then went thru with the bk filing, when he couldnt get it refinanced.

otherwise, it does not seem like it would be in the borrower's best interest to cut it that close, when he might actually miss the recording of the bk on time.

that is just a guess, on my part.
