Debt Resolution 101 - The First 10 Minutes of the Very First ClassIn Reply to: should I give him a chance? posted by Skimmer on June 15, 2009 at 2:25 PM Shame on you Skimmer. I'm not sure why we're even having this discussion. This is a no-brainer. Never believe an opposing attorney. They're paid guns. I could make an analogy to the world's oldest profession, but I won't. Distressed borrowers always think something miraculous is going to relieve them of their problems, that is when they're not in denial and blaming everyone else for their problems. Always keep the pressure on as that is the only way the situation gets resolved. There's an old saw about attorneys. Argue the law. If you can't argue the law, argue the facts. If you can't argue the facts, dazzle them with your BS. Everytime I'm in a discussion with an opposing attorney and I don't hear them debating the law or facts with me, I remind them of that proverb.
