Also, why do you think it would be listed on the CalBar website? Some of the best attorneys that I know are not certified in their area of specialty, and likewise, some of the poorest work that I've seen has come from attorneys that are "State certified specialists in probate and estate planning." You don't really tell us what you're looking for, or why this is important. Are you searching for a particular specialty practitioner? Or, are you trying to determine if a particular attorney has some level of expertise that they or others perhaps claim to have? This is why attorneys, like other professionals, are best referred by current or past clients who've had successful experiences.
