You don't answer the questions. The question isn't about getting a seller carry back, but negotiating a deal directly with a seller. Not because it proves anything, but because you unless you work with people directly and hear the their needs and wants, and vice versa, you can't really cut the best deal. I don't mean the best deal $$ wise. I mean the best deal. Agents can often get in the way of that. You didn't pay interest on the seller's money, because you didn't borrow money. You paid interest because it's a convention of an installment sale and the notions of the time/value/money in a seller's equity. Remember they are just ideas.. : ...but I paid the seller interest--and was glad to do so--on his money.
