I believe doing disclosure in regard to not reading the article I have experience with OPs, so that was my incentive to respond, Have a very nice day! : Yea, you should read the article before you comment on something you obviously don't know anything about! : The issue is: will title companies consider a judgment wiped off because of the prior recorded OP. : And if you were the judgment holder, would you take legal action because your judgment was wiped off the property because of a OP with a 20 or 30 year term? : Because of this point, a friendly deed of trust with a 30 year term seems to me to provide better protection of equity.
