Re: No much REAL experience on "Real" Estate Investment

It is hard to find anyone with the perfect "approach".
I use to do a lot of investing back in the 90s, I was
in an auto accident in early 2006 and got knocked out
of life's saddle for awhile. I have a wealth of
experience and hands on experience with real estate
investing, but I have never purchased at an auction, nor
a probate, etc., although I did one subject to transaction
back in 1995 and that almost turned into a nightmare. So if
Mr. Reed has a background, I feel that he is somewhat justified
to write on the subject matter and to dedicate his time to
review other "guru" activity, my hat is off to him; it would
be very difficult to do both effectively. I know that I have
helped hundreds of people buy homes with my "know how" with
traditional home purchases, and I could write about it (if I
knew how to write, mind you), my last purchase was done in
2003, so does that mean I am out of the loop and all my
experience is meaningless? I hope not! Thanks! I appreciate
all the comments here, great group of folks taking their
time to share!

: Personally I don't like him. He spends all his time to judge or comment on other real estate gurus, rather than on his own real estate investment. He lists his investments in one of his book which lets me feel that he hasn't been doing "hand-on" for half a century.
