Bidding before the gavel goes down is an old trick used by pros, so your adversary has been around a while and he's well educated. If he's outbidding everybody at TS I wouldn't worry. Everybody has a different business model and define profit and great deals differently. To me it sounds like his profit margin is pretty thin. If anything thank him, because he may cause you to change your business model.
