Have you ever lost a deal to this guy? Is most of what you know hear-say and not personal experience? Then you go and check the data and find that 10 deals last year worked out alright? There is no lesson the guy needs that can be taught by the "pros." He's getting the deals for the right price for him and the other investors don't want it for that price. This is so basic. Sometimes volume is a better business model than quality (in terms of profit). What can we do to this guy? You can't be serious. Maybe you should bid after him. You need deals, not friends in front of the court house. Kristine : There is one "copycat" at trustee sale. He always waits for 3 or 4 pros start to bid each others before he jumps in. All pros hate him, but couldn't find a way to teach him a lesson. I was told that this guy has been doing this for 10 year in my county. He doesn't get great deals, since he never be the first one to know the deal. But he bids up and gets lots of deals. I researched the houses he bought, and found he is doing well. In 2008, he makes money on all houses (about 10+) except one loser. : What can we do to this guy???
