Thanks : BTI BTI, I have tended to over-react to shifting demands and my own agent's bullying (as well as some initial misinformation on the part of the escrow officer). Moreover, having reviewed prior CD's and advice I thought I was prepared - as it turned out I was not. Now that a "higher official" at Old Republic has forwarded me how he views the law on partnerships, as provided a copy of California code, it seems to me that WARD needs to do an article or an update on the newer standards which are NOT permissive on BP-1 registration (as far as I can tell).
