I would like to get compensated for research and finding the deal. My question is if it is legal to get paid for that, since I am not an agent. GC : Something like that? Something like what? Anyone, including the trustor, can bid at trustee's sale. Are you bidding via proxy because the buyer can't be there? Are you finding the deals, have someone's money to buy at sale and then want to transfer the deal to the funder if you are winning bidder? : There are rules about proxy bidding in CA but I don't know them. Why not post what you are trying to do, and how, and see if you get some feedback for what you proposing? Kristine :
