Prices are still dropping in the greater LA area. However, it's interesting to note that inventory has DECREASED by 10% since last year. As for where this data comes from, I believe it's from the MLS... "HousingTracker does not track home sale prices but rather home asking prices for select metropolitan areas. The asking (or list) price is the price that a seller is asking for their home, not necessarily the sale price they receive for their home.
