You may not noticing it happening at the time, but if you track any number of properties from amount on NOD and minimum bid quoted on trustee's sale phone line, you'll see properties being offered for less than loan amount. : Thanks Ward and Christine. I've only been to a few in Alameda County. : I dont recall them say "Specified bid". But it all happens a little hokey.
