I have read the prior posts regarding priority and I understand this to be a grey area when the first and second record the same time, day, ect, from the same lender. In this case, the lower loan amount, recorded with a higher sequential number, states "Second Mortgage" on the bottom of the first page of the deed. Could there be any doubt in this case- as to this being the second? I'm only interested if this amount gets wiped out.
