Curious, Nevada County California? I've been going to auctions in the SF Bay area, and its not really that bad. Anywhere from 6 to 20 people show up. Often no one bids because the deals are so bad (owe more on mortgages that the house is worth) but not always. Went to one county and four houses went. Gone to other auctions, and no buys. However, I have never seen no one paying attention. By the way, what's the advantage of looking for probate? Buying equity?
