hml prepays

are usually only for a year. this is what i do on all my loans, but i cant recall seeing one for over a year from any broker.

there are still a lot of hml loans with no prepays, but if it is over a year, you are probably safe in any case.

most hmls only last for no more than 3 years. we lenders just dont want to go thru the hoops for less than a years worth of interest.
