How to do a Title search on a property!

Posted by Todd T. on August 11, 2002 at 5:04 PM

How can I find out what kind of liens are on a property besides paying for one threw a title company. I live in Orlando, Florida. I have gone to my (County online appraisers site) and I don't know if I can get all liens including junior liens online. Do I have to go down to the County courthouse to do this. Also if I do have to go down to the courthouse what erea would I go to.The reason for me asking is that I am waisting alot of time going to these pre-forclosure properties to find out there %90-%110 financed. I would rather have better idea of how much they owe before I waste my time with cold calling. Any advice would be appreciated.
