One of a score or more...In Reply to: Anyone heard of National Investment Corporation? posted by ed on April 20, 2008 at 10:39 AM Ed, Switching property ownership around during a foreclosure has no appreciable impact on the progress of the foreclosure unless the new owner is in bankruptcy. In that case it will just postpone the ultimate foreclosure sale until the foreclosing lender's request for relief from the automatic stay is granted by the bankruptcy court. Also note that the foreclosure will be conducted in the name of the original borrower/trustor, regardless of any subsequent ownership change.
: Looks like they claim to be foreclosure specialists. Anyways, a property is going to trustee sale here in cali. After the 1st td filed an NOD the property was grant deeded to national investment corp. I know this happens a lot with people gift or grant deeding property during foreclosure, but how does it affect title?
