The fact that an auctioned property was used as a comp isn't off limits for any reason I'm aware. In my humble opinion, I don't think you're going to prevail against the appraiser. -------Ward ======= : Can auction properties and foreclosure properties be used comps by appraisers on homes that don't fall into these categories? Looking for some recourse on an appraiser that used an auction comp thus causing the deal to fall apart.
