Is a person buying a home that is more than 3.5X the household income? Sorry. Not buying the whole "I was duped and didnt know what I was signing" argument. : Hello Jimbo, : If a person doesn't overstate their income and other info on the loan application and the loan later adjusts and they are then faced with a payment that they cannot afford then that would be a good example of predatory lending which is illegal. : If a person does overstate their income and other info then that would be loan fraud which is also illegal. : Denis
