I don't think so...In Reply to: Is a judgement senior to a lien? posted by David on April 13, 2008 at 11:00 AM David, You probably know that all states employ a "carrot" to get the public to record their interest in real property as promptly as possible. The "carrot" is that the superior priority of a recorded lien, relative to any other lien recorded against the title of the same real property, is determined by their relative order of recording times. Earlier recorded liens, regardless of whether they are voluntary or involuntary liens, always trump later recorded liens against the same property. Therefore, the foreclosure of the 1st will extinguish itself and wipe off the title of the property all other junior liens and interests, including the 2nd & 3rd.
