You're correct in your assessment. Each time we discounted the purchase to let the buyer cure the defaults. As I recall it was around $6000 each time, but this was about ten years ago. Good RE attorneys are a must in this business. I know I've seen the work products of enough bad ones. Good RE attorneys don't come cheap, but they're cheaper than shoddy work that has to be redone.
