: I am having a hard time with bankers understanding I already own a property I foreclosed on (I had 2nd position) and now own. I am trying to re-finance the current loan on the property. Bankers I am dealing with don't seem to understand I already own the property. They have come up with ridiculous conditions like wanting the guy I foreclosed on to "sell me the property" or having him be a co-signer on the new loan. Has anyone dealt with any bankers/underwriters who routinely re-finance repossessed properties in Orange County, CA? Thank you!

Details??? How much is owed on the first? How much was owed on the second? What is the value of the home (conservative as if you needed to sell within the next 30 days)? Do you qualify for a fully documented loan? What is your FICO? What County is the property in? What are your intentions for the property (rent, flip or move in)? What is the purpose of the cash? Why not just bring the first current and make the paments?
