Agency question
I just purchased a house at the trustee's sale with investors money, for which a neighbor has submitted a written purchase offer. There are two investors, and the profits will be split 45% to each and 10% to me. Although I have a real estate license, I am not currently an agent. If I sign up with a real estate agency, but continue to bid at the auctions, does it become illegal for me to collect 10% on future deals? I plan to list the properties I buy at auction; does stating that I am a principle in the listing allow me to collect my 10% as part of an outside company?
