: : How's the best way to get a rather significant used motor oil out of a concrete driveway. If I tear out that section of driveway the new concrete will not matched the cured portion. If I tear up the whole driveway, the sidewalks will not match. Is there a product on the market which will take the oil stain out. The stain appears to have been there presumably several years.

: Have one of the local powerwasher guys come over and powerwash it using muriatic acid. Or you can put muriatic acid on it and wash it down.....A WORD of caution....BE CAREFUL of the acid. ALWAYS put acid into water....NOT water into acid...it will EXPLODE and do serious bodily harm.

: Good Luck,
: Bill H

My favorite method is just pouring some regular gasoline on the stain, let it soak in for a few minutes and it will break up the oil, then sweep cat litter over it to suck out the oil.
