Short sale...and...Leasehold Interest

I am now involved in short sale.

Is there such a thing as a "Normal Time Line."

If so what could/would be considered normal for a local regional bank.

Also, I always thought that a leasehold interest was personal property and was repossed through a replevin order from the court. Just ran across one that is being foreclosed upon.

Plus, the foreclosing lender is exercising their due-on-sale clause and forcing the junior liens hand.
